The California State University is the largest, the most diverse and one of the most affordable public university systems in the United States with 23 campuses, 412,000 students and 43,000 faculty members. CSU plays a vital role in the growth and development of California's communities and economy by offering more than 1,800 Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in 357 subject areas. Since 1961, CSU has awarded nearly 2.5 million bachelor's, master's and joint doctoral degrees. CSU prepares about 60% of the teachers in the state, 40% of the engineering graduates, and more graduates in business, agriculture, communications, health, education and public administration than all other California universities and colleges combined. Altogether, the CSU system awards about 50% of the bachelor's degrees and 33% of the master's degrees granted in California.

Founded in 1947, California State University, Sacramento (Sacramento State for short) is a leading public university and one of the 23 campuses that make up the California State University system. Located in California's capital city - the heart of California Government, Sacramento State offers tremendous opportunities for students, preparing them to be leaders in some of the nation's most influential public and private institutions.

ACCREDITATION
Sacramento State is accredited by the Western Association of Colleges and Schools, one of the seven regional accreditation agencies in the United States.
In addition, the Sacramento State College of Business Administration (CBA) is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) since 1963.
Accreditation by AACSB International is considered to be the hallmark of excellence in management education representing the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Till date, only 593 of 8,000 business schools in the world are accredited by AACSB International, the only agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as having the ability to accredit collegiate business programs.
