Project E.A.R.T.H., an initiative by the National Environment Agency (NEA) Central Regional Office and Central Singapore CDC. We cordially invite all the Singapore Compact members having businesses at Central Singapore to be part of Project E.A.R.T.H. - Mayor's 10,000 Tonnes Recycling Challenge.
Project E.A.R.T.H. (Every Act of Recycling Trash Helps) is an iconic environmental programme for the Central Singapore district for 2009/10. It aims to rally partners from the People, Public and Private sectors to meet a district goal of 10,000 tonnes of recyclables. The aim of Project E.A.R.T.H. is to raise the visibility of recycling practices in the Central Singapore district. Since its launch, Project E.A.R.T.H has mobilised more of their residents, students and corporate partners to recycle and meet the challenge, which in-turn fosters community bonding in the process.
