I joined investment banking about 10 years ago, i joined as a mid career executive and so i didn't go through the typical graduate entry training, so what i know about my business is what i basically picked it up on my own , so i believe this is the right time to pick up a formal education in finance. There were a couple of different programmes that were offered in Singapore, but what I wanted was short duration course that is very specialized in specifically what I needed to know. I get a chance to meet people who don't come from the same background, in my cohort, i have course mates from marine trading, insurance business, a couple of university lecturers, it's a chance to actually see the world from quite a different point of view.

If you take the present value of my compensation since graduating from Baruch and divide it by the cost of my education, the value proposition of a Baruch education is clear. My contribution to the college cannot even make a dent in everything Baruch has done for me.

I was very pleased and it was a great honour to receive the Top Student award from CIM for the Post-graduate diploma in Marketing. I thoroughly enjoyed the program conducted by Aventis School of Management, Singapore and the lectures were extremely helpful in further developing and updating my marketing knowledge and preparing me for the exams. It was also interesting to meet fellow marketing students from all over Asia and from a wide variety of organizations. I would recommend the CIM Post Graduate Diploma program to marketing professionals who want to extend their marketing knowledge in order to better prepare them to make successful strategic decisions in more senior roles in the future.

We are changing faster than ever in today's business environment, what works for us today might not work tomorrow. That is why it is extremely important for me to commit to learning, we must learn faster than our competitors and customers and the market in general. I believe everything in the business world boils down to marketing. Marketing is the process of meeting consumers' needs on a win-win basis. There are a lot of new theories, new applications, and that is why I want to learn from the very best. And one of the best American universities you can go to, to learn about marketing has to be the City University of New York, CUNY.

"… It wasn't a fast and easy decision to commit to a course at this stage in life. After careful consideration and researching my options Baruch Singapore was the obvious choice. The spacing between modules affords time to balance work, study and life. The course is also flexible enough to work around busy spells in the office. For example I had to defer a couple of modules to the following year to allow for business travel. It's taken the pressure off, giving me peace of mind to enjoy a higher quality of focused study time. The lecturers, whom all fly over from New York, have been inspirational. From captains of industry to academic intellects, they make the daunting weekends fly by. I can't emphasize enough how rewarding and energizing they are. The relevance and direct application of all the course material has helped my career tremendously. Be warned, it's not easy. Join this course with your eyes wide open and be prepared to work. Conversely everyone on the course wants to be there, they all want to contribute and do the best they can, so you will have a first class support group and team around you. Good luck! …"

Delivered by top faculty sent from New York, and coupled with a global curriculum, I benefit from their cutting-edge knowledge at a cost that is significantly lower than that offered by other executive masters programs in Singapore."
